The SAFE ZONE Model is based on international standards for compliance management, integrity, safety and security.
SAFE ZONE Principles are:
1. World FZO and its Members will own the SAFE ZONE model;
2. The SAFE ZONE program is voluntary;
3. SAFE ZONE accreditation is fully based on systematic self-assessment;
4. There will be specific criteria for joining the program; and
5. Applications for SAFE ZONE will be done on-line.
