The Board of Directors of the World Free Zones Organization met on 23rd June 2025 virtually. The Board discussed the ongoing preparations for 11th World FZO World Congress scheduled to be held from 10-12 October in Hainan, China and the current financial situation.

Chairperson Dr. Mohammed AlZarooni updated the Board of the Global Leadership & Innovation in Investment Promotion Masterclass held recently in Geneva and the signing of the China Regional Office Agreement with Haikou Jiangdong New Area Administration.

The Finance, Policy & Governance, Membership, Knowledge, and Events committees updated the Board of the developments in their respective areas and their view on the Membership Value Proposition being developed by World FZO.

The Audited financials for 2024 were presented by the KPMG team and the same was approved by the Board. It was agreed that the next Board Meeting will be held physically on 12th October 2025, in Hainan, alongside the 11th World FZO World Congress. #Worldfzoworldcongress #worldfzo #hainan #china
